Payment In Progress - Payment Received!

Well I have been offline for a few days and just recently checked to see when my "PIP" line showed up on my adsense account. The "payment in progress" line showed up on my account on May 23rd which was last Friday. However since Monday was Memorial Day then that meant that I didn't actually receive the payment until today.

It was a looooong weekend!

I'm $19 away from earning the $100 minimum!

I'm striving to have at least a 10% click through rate as far as my adsense ads are concerned.

Every month I post how close I am to the minimum of $100 needed to be earned before one can get an adsense payment the next month.

I checked my adsense "numbers" today and see that I am about $19 away from earning the $100 minimum needed to get an adsense payment next month. I also see that I have earnings from both the search box and the adsense referrals so my total earnings are above what I earned from just the "content" ads alone. So I may be closer to that $100 than I expected.

As you can see there are no adsense ads on this blog. That is because the name of this blog is called "The Adsense Consultant's" Blog and the word "adsense" is part of the url of this blog. I thought about changing it but I have put so much time and effort into this blog that I'm going to keep it as it is.

I will update you all when I have met the $100 minimum.

Adsense Consultant?

I have often mentioned the clients that I do and have had as an adsense consultant. You can also see a list of my clients on the side of this blog.

The majority of the clients that I do have have hired me to help set up their adsense accounts. In the majority of cases they didn't know anything about adsense. They only knew that they could earn money by having adsense on their sites and they wanted them on there. They didn't know how or didn't want to be bothered with the process of how to actually add the adsense ads on their sites but they wanted them there.

I decided to post about this because I saw someone asking about where they could hire someone to help them with their adsense. I first thought about asking "me" but I then came to realize that there is a lot more involved instead of just recommending myself.

Even though there is a process to actually adding the adsense ad coding to one's site, some people have found that process difficult and others like myself have found it to be not as difficult - although I have to admit that at the beginning when I first started adding adsense to my own sites I found it to be a little difficult but I think that that was only because I was trying too hard and I was too over-anxious to start earning money right away.

In hindsight I can see that when there is a process involved the best way to go is to go slowly and take one's time. Ever heard the saying "First comes right, then comes speed"?

Actually I have talked a lot in depth about how my Adsense Consultant blog is on page one of Google's search engine results for the term "adsense consultant" but the fact of the matter is that my blog is not the only site that is listed in those search results. There are a lot of links to other adsense consultants too.

You just have to be very careful about who you choose to be your adsense consultant!

Can I Place Adsense Ads On My Wordpress Blog?

I thought that this was a very interesting question and I have to honestly admit that I didn't know the answer to it so I looked it up.

In a word you cannot add Adsense ads to your Wordpress blog

Here are some excerpts:

  • I have read the WorsPress Features in Advertising section that signed :

To support the service we may occasionally show Google text ads on your blog, however we do this very rarely. In the future you’ll be able to purchase an upgrade to either turn the ads off or show your own ads and make money from your blog.

  • ok. I can't do Adsense, but wordpress can. hmm. guess i'm moving my blog. thank you

  • Planning to shift to Blogger or something else. Ridiculous as to why we cannot post our own ads

  • It's just too bad we can't have Adsense in WordPress.com. The templates look very professional if you compare with Blogger.com's. I just registered with WordPress, guess I have to pull my blog out. What a waste! But just wondering...are all ads not permitted in Wordpress? If not, what are they? Most peolple hook up to the net to make cash online, & I'm one of them. If WordPress can help people like me, it's just like my prayer's answered.
