Can I Add Ad Space From Other Advertisers?

Can I Add Ad Space From Other Advertisers?

The answer is YES!

You can add other ads from other advertisers other than adsense

BUT

you have to make sure that these ads do not look like the adsense ads! In other words the other ads can not have the same look - ie the same layout coloring - as the adsense ads that appear on your site!

I'm Getting Very Dis-Illusioned With Auction Ads!

I decided to check my auction ads stats - since I haven't done so in a very long time.

The results are not too good to say the least!

I'm looking at my page impressions and for one particular blog I got something like over 4,000 page impressions and maybe a few clicks but comparing with all of the sites that I have auction ads on it just seems like I should be getting more revenue from them.

I'm wondering whether that "run-in" that I had with them some months back has anything to do with it because I am quite close to taking them off altogether!

*BTW - Auction Ads is now known as Shopping Ads

Can I Add Other Ads To My Adsense Site?

or

"Can I Place Non-Google / Non Google Ads On My Website or Blog?"

In a word, yes you can have other types of ads on your adsense site BUT according to Adsense's terms of service agreement you have to make sure that your other ads do not look like your adsense ads.

Basically you can solve this problem by having your other ads in a different color scheme from your adsense ads color scheme - meaning make sure that they both don't have the same color scheme.

Other "ad" programs like Amazon and Ebay's Auction Ads can be placed on the same site or blog that you have your adsense ads on. Just make sure that they don't have the same color scheme as your adsense ads!

Just What Are Affiliate Programs?

Affiliate programs are where a website has a product to sell and they offer you a commission when you display their product on your site and someone buys the product.

You can do an online search for affiliate programs and you will get a lot of links to different affiliate programs. However you also have to be careful. There are a lot of good and legitimate ones out there and of course that has spawn those that are not so good and not so legitimate.

Before you think about joining any of them you should do some research online and find out what others have said about the program - especially if its something bad about it.

When you join an affiliate program you are given a number and that is how your affiliate earnings are tracked and you can check your earnings by signing into the affiliate page with your account information.

With the exception of Adsense's program I don't like most of the other affiliate programs - but hey, that's just me.

InBox Dollars? - Read What Others Have To Say First Before You Think Of Joining!

Inbox Dollars is supposed to be a site that pays you to take surveys, answer email, etc., I was thinking about joining it myself but one of the things that I found out is that they require you giving them a credit card number so that really turned me off to the program! But while I was online investigating the program I got a chance to read what some others had to say about the program.

Auction Ads - Why Is My Payment Taking So Long?

According to their website, auction ads say that they send out payments during the first of the month. It is now October 4th and I have yet to see any payment made to my account.

This is very frustrating and it reminds me of last month's wait for the adsense payment. In that case I wasn't the only persoon that was upset because the adsense payments were so late in coming!

However since this is my first auctionads payment I am very anxious to get receive my payment. I sent them an email asking about whether or not I would get a payment this month and they emailed me back later in the morning saying that I would receive a payment this month. So far I haven't received anything yet so I sent them another email yesterday but I still haven't heard back from them.

I'm very anxious to get my payment! However since this is a Thursday going on a Friday that means that if a payment is made to me on Friday then there is a 2 step process that has to be gone through which will take at least 2 business days! Now since Monday is Columbus Day I'll have to check and see if the banks will be operating on that day - if not then the process will take 3 days!

I don't understand why I am having so much problems with receiving my auctionads payment. I got an email saying that I would get a payment this month and since auctionads' site says that they issue payments on the first of the mont = then where is my payment?

*10/13/07 - I just got an email from them today saying that they are looking into the matter. When I find out more I will post here.

10/20/07 - Update! - I finally did receive my first Auction Ads payment! If I earn enough to get a payment next month I hope it doesn't take as long or be so complicated!

Still Waiting For My Auction Ads Payment!

I could be just a little over-anxious because this is my first Auction Ads payment ever. According to their blog they say that they issue payments on the first of the month for last month's earnings.

Here is an excerpt from their blog:

"AuctionAds Publishers, we were excited to get our first set of payments out to you today! Please note that we sent out your month one earnings via PayPal today from “Shoe Money Media Group”. Moving forward payments will be from our AuctionAds PayPal account but please look for the “Shoe Money Media Group” payment for today.

One question we’ve gotten from a few publishers is why they weren’t paid for the 31st of the month. Due to our net-0 terms and the time it takes to reconcile, earnings from the last day of the month go onto the next month.

We are excited about the growth in publisher earnings we saw in our first month of business! Please note that it can take time to ramp up earnings but our publishers who have given the program time have seen great results. We have many new features and announcements coming soon so stay tuned!
"

So I am still anxiously waiting for my first Auction Ads payment!

Participating in Online Surveys? - The Jury Is Still Out On This One!

My opinion on those paid surveys online is not very good!

There is one paid survey program that I have here on the side of this blog but so far it is the only one that I have seen that I have felt is worth mentioning! So far all the others that I have seen are just not paying enough, they want you to do a whole lot or they want too much information from you. Another thing that irks me is their payment process. While they do pay you to participate in online surveys they seem to charge so much for their payment to you. Some of these paid survey sites want you to download their program and install it on your computer which I have grown to become very wary of because of all the spyware, adware, "anything"-ware that could be bundled with this download.

Keep in mind that this is only my opinion and you may have found a survey program that you like. If that is the case then you should tell everyone you know that you have found a good one because there are a LOT of bad ones out there!

Auction Ads

People are always asking if there are any other programs like adsense and here is one that I like - it's called AuctionAds!

It operates in ways that are similar to adsense. You join up for AuctionAds and you are given coding to add the ads to your site. However unlike adsense the AuctionAd's ads are not based on the content of your site. When are going through the process of deciding the ads that you want to place on your site you enter in keywords that relate to your site and AuctionAd will give you ad codes based on the keywords that you fill in.

Another difference between this program and Adsense is that you don't get paid per click. You earn money when someone clicks on the products that are being auctioned on Ebay and they either make the winning bid or they press the "buy it now" option to buy the Ebay item immediately.

There is also an affiliate program where you also get paid when someone signs up for the AuctionAd's program.

You get paid a percentage of what the person pays for the Ebay item.

Another thing - unlike the adsense program, AuctionAd's minimum payout amout is $50! (while adsense minimum payout is $100).

I have been using this program for a few months now and so far it has taken me those few months to earn the $50 minimum payout.

AuctionAd site says that they pay at the beginning of the month for last month's earnings and you can get your payment via PayPal.

So if this sounds good to you you can look at AuctionAd's site to find out more about the program

What Is Agloco?

What is Agloco?

I have been hearing so much about this program! People are posting about it everywhere and claim it is the greatest thing!

I was somewhat skeptical about it since I heard that while this program seemed to be touted by a lot of people nobody was getting paid anything! and now my suspicions were right!

Here is a site that explains it better!

It seems that the Agloco program is still in its infancy and current members are accumulating surfing "credits" but to date haven't been paid any money yet due to the program still being new. Members are being promised a percentage of the advertising profits but no payments have been made yet.
