Payment In Progress! December 2009!

Well as you can see I got my "PIP" (payment in progress) line today! That means that I will have some Google Adsense money to spend BEFORE Christmas!

There was a speculation about whether or not us Google Adsense publishers would be receiving our Google Adsense earnings before Christmas day. But it has been brought to my attention that those that get their Google Adsense earnings by regular check won't actually be getting their Google Adsense money until after Christmas.

Well, There Has Been A Payment In Progress Sighting!

I checked the related adsense boards to see if anyone posted about getting their "PIP" line and indeed someone posted that they got theirs! Someone who posted that they were from Michigan posted that they got their Adsense "payment in progress" line posted today on their adsense account.

Now I went and checked my own google adsense account and there was no "PIP" line there - yet! But once someone starts posting that they got their "payment in progress" line I know that (hopefully) my own adsense payment shouldn't be too far behind!

Hopefully I'll get it BEFORE Christmas so that I can spend it BEFORE Christmas.

Also a popular rumor going around is that Adsense processes those who get their adsense payment by check first but Adsense themself has said that this is not true. But Adsense doesn't say how they actually process the adsense payments and Adsense also doesn't say in what order they process payments. So in the meantime that just leaves the rest of us with going through the guessing game!

You Are Scheduled To Be Sent A Payment..........

Google Adsense

"You are scheduled to be sent a payment"........

I didn't think to look at this for a few days because I was busy working on getting my Google Adsense earning numbers up. But for some reason I decided to check my payment history - probably in the hopes that the "payment in progress" line would be showing in my Google Adsense account (which it didn't

But I did see the message below:

This means that the Google Adsense payment process has begun! This doesn't mean that the "payment in progress" line is showing yet. It just means that for those that have Google Adsense on their sites that the process for processing the payments has begun.

I'm encouraged by the fact that this message is showing on the 19th of the month because in previous months when this message was shown at around the same time it meant that we got our Google Adsense payments earlier than usual.

Add to that the fact that there is the hope that we will get our Google Adsense payments BEFORE Christmas that just makes the whole topic of when we will get our Google Adsense payments more popular at the moment.

I'll keep my eyes out for that first "PIP" posting!

Working To Bring Those Adsense Earnings Up!

If your Google Adsense earnings are down and you want to work to make your Google Adsense earnings go up then you have to identify your Adsense "problem areas!

Take a look at the screenshot below:

These are my Adsense numbers for today - so far!

Take a look at my adsense click-thru-rate. As an adsense publisher my goal for Adsense click thru rate is to have at least a 10% ctr on my adsense earnings. Now there have been times when my adsense click through rate has been higher and there have been times when my adsense click-thru-rate has been lower. But as you can see from the screenshot I am pretty much within my Adsense click thru rate goals.

How do you get a high adsense click thru rate? To get a high click through means that a good portion of the people that visit your adsense site are clicking on your adsense ads. That may be because the adsense ads that are appearing on your site are relative to the content on your site OR the adsense ads on your site are NOT relative to the content on your site BUT the adsense ads that are appearing on your site are interesting enough that they are being clicked on anyway.

Now take a look at the ecpm which means the estimate cost per click. That number means that the average price of the clicks are getting are in that number range. So this is another good example of how adsense publishers can incorporate higher-paying keywords into the content of their site so that they can earn more money per Adsense ad that gets clicked on their site.

If your Adsense earnings are down don't whine or complain about it.

Do something about it!

Are Your Adsense Earnings Down?

The Adsense Consultant

Are your Google Adsense earnings down? Then don't worry because you are not alone! I have seen many board postings from Adsense publishers who have posted about how their adsense earnings have gone way down! Even my own adsense earnings have decreased!

But instead of whine and complain though I decided to do something about it!

There are 2 ways to increase your Adsense earnings:

  • The first way is to increase the traffic to your Adsense site. Get those traffic numbers up! Install one of the free stat tracking widgets so that you can see where your traffic is coming from! I have them on my own sites and I recommend them to my clients as well. These traffic widgets will show you where your traffic is coming from. For example with my own tracking stats I can tell that about half of my traffic comes from the search engines and the other half comes from traffic that came to my sites from places that I have posted to.

  • The 2nd way to increase your Google Adsense earnings is to incorporate more higher-paying keyword content into your site. There are a few high-paying keywords that pay as much as $100 per click! I have a high-paying keyword list of my own and it is this exact same list that I am using now to incorporate more high-paying keyword content into my (and my clients') sites.

You can either use these high-paying keywords as the basis of your site or you could take the higher-paying keywords and incorporate into a site that you have already made.

I also provide a service where I take a client's site and find the most popular search terms that are related to the client's site. With this list of the most popular search terms I incorporate these popular search terms into the client's site (or I provide them with the list of popular search terms and they incorporate those popular search terms into their own sites themselves). I am also doing this for my own sites as well.

You would probably be surprised and amazed at the number of people who are searching for the most simplest of terms and phrases. For example did you know that over 2 Million people typed in the word "adsense" in a search engine last month? That is a lot of people! Now since my blog is about being an Adsense Consultant I want to get as much of that traffic coming to this blog as possible! In fact I have noted here and on my The SEO Consultant Blog about how important it is to rank high in the search engines if you want more traffic to come to your site or blog. More traffic to your site (that has Adsense on it) means the more potential clicks you will get on your Adsense ads!

Another search term that has had over 1 Million searches is the term "making money online". It seems that a lot of people are interested in being able to make money online. Now remember that these are search terms that are associated with my blog and since Adsense is one of the great ways to earn money online visitors may come to my site seeking more information about how to make money online since I mention how the Google Adsense program is a great way to be able to make money online.

So if your Adsense earnings are down Do something about it!

How Is My High-Paying Keyword List Working?

I posted this on my original Adsense Consultant blog:

It seems that there has been a little cosmetic change to your Adsense account!

It seems that Adsense has changed the way your Adsense account page looks. According to their blog they assure us Adsense publishers that these changes do not affect the way our Adsense earnings are calculated.

Did you already see this? If not, take a look at the screen shot below:

As you can see the top portion of the screenshot shows the way your Adsense page looked BEFORE Adsense changed it. The top of your adsense page used to say "Today's Earnings" but NOW it says "Today's ESTIMATED Earnings!

According to Adsense this change that they have made will not affect your Adsense earnings.

Basically what they are saying is that your adsense earnings aren't officially tabulated until your adsense earning numbers are verified (which usually occurs around the 10th of the next month before they send your Adsense payment).

I can honestly say that I have seen this happen on my own Adsense account where at the end of the month there will be an Adsense earning total but by the 10th of the next month that Adsense earning number has changed - in my case it changed to a higher number - thank goodness.

A more detailed explanation of this can be found on the official Adsense blog by clicking here.

But after posting this on my blog I noticed that I also got a screenshot of my Adsense earnings for earlier this afternoon so I decided to include it on this blog as well.

Mind you this is how much I have earned so far today!

I have been browsing some of the adsense-related message forums and have taken notice about how a lot of people have been posting about how bad their adsense earnings are getting. Some of the adsense publishers are experiencing very low adsense earnings so far this month (and some adsense publishers have even said that their adsense earning numbers were lower even before this month of December 2009!)

Going from my past blog posts I can honestly say that my adsense earning revenue has increase and I'm accounting that to the fact that I am using more higher-paying keyword content on my sites. Another thing that I'm doing is that I have made a list of the most used traffic search terms for my particular sites and I am also using those search terms in my sites so that will help increase the traffic to my sites.

Increased traffic to one's adsense site means more potential clicks on the Adsense ads which means more potential Adsense earnings!

I understand getting frustrated and / or angry about one's Adsense earnings being so low but if you want your Adsense earnings to increase you're going to have to do something about it - which is what I am doing for myself and for my clients as well!

High Paying Keywords - Do They Work? ABSOLUTELY!

High paying keywords - Do they really work? I'll let you judge for yourself!

Below you will see the results that I have gotten so far today:

As you can see from the screenshot above, I actually earned $3 for one click! (Actually it was over $3! for just one click!

I have been blogging lately about using more higher paying keywords into the content of my sites and it looks like it is working very well! $3 (over $3) for one click is a very, very good sign of a high paying keyword!

There is a second line where I earned over $1 for a single click on one of my Adsense ads too!

Higher paying keywords earn you more money per click!

I have been using some of the high paying keywords that I have on my own High Paying Keyword List and it looks as though it is working out very well!

Will We Get An Adsense Payment Before Christmas?

There's a very popular topic of discussion going on on one of the Google Adsense message boards. Someone asked the question of whether or not the Google Adsense publishers would be receiving their Google Adsense payments BEFORE Christmas. (The person that posted this message was anxious to start spending his Google Adsense money for Christmas)

Well the answer to that question is really hard to say! From my personal experience at being one of the Google Adsense publshers, I have received my Google Adsense payments before Christmas Day for the past 3 years! However it's been on different days and I really think that it depends on what the format of the month is. For instance I have received my Google Adsense payment as early as the 21st of December and as late as the 24th of December! It's really going to depend on the format of this December month.

Here are my own personal Google Adsense payment history statistics:

December 2006 my Google Adsense payment was issued on the 21st - which was quite early now that I think about it!

December 2007 my Google Adsense payment was issued on the 24th - one day BEFORE Christmas!

December 2008 my Google Adsense payment was issued on the 22nd of the month.

The format of December 2009 roughly is similar to December 2008 when I got my Google Adsense payment on the 22nd of the month. Notice that I say similar and not exact! Since the formats are not exact that could mean that the Google Adsense payment could come earlier or it could come later! And since the Adsense payment in progress process is so unpredictable this could also mean that we might get our Google Adsense payment AFTER Christmas - so it is really just too hard to say! - Sorry!
